 The seventh day of December was a big day for Houstonians in Texas. Approximately around 7am there were reports of a mysterious green flash of light across the morning skies. Reports first came in from across Houston as far north as Tomball to Brenham and Katy, then people as far north as McKinney (over 250 miles away) and west to Austin (over 150) reported seeing the same thing. After the flash of green light, there was a tail like appearance falling from the sky.
Of course speculations of UFO’s, aircraft equipment were thought but later identified as a potential meteor for an upcoming meteor shower that will take place December 13th. I guess all we can really do is wait and see.

 When we first started the exploration of Mars, I was fascinated by the pictures of the statue of a Man on Mars half buried in the soil. NASA was at pains to explain that the picture was an illusion. There was no Man statue ruins on Mars. So were various Internet pictures of the vast canyon that crosses Mars, ones in which it was rumored were ruins of a past civilization built into the cliffs.
I was also fascinated with the number of failed missions to Mars. Rumor had it that an old space station was sending out missiles to destroy any spaceships attempting to get near the planet. Of course, we now have better engineering and those rumors must be false also, right? Or was the station finally out of ammo? Or was it disabled somehow?
All of this begs the question: Why are we spending billions of dollars to go to a dead planet? If there is life on the current Mars, it is most likely microscopic given the thin atmosphere. Nothing else is likely to have survived. It is possible that life in the soil might have survived. It is also possible we could be looking at giant sand worms that only come near the surface to reproduce.  How to make the public disbelieve the truth . . .
I did not make this up. The people with degrees in Public Relations did. It was done many years ago by very good PR people.
Let us go back to the 15th or 16th century in a make believe play. The scene is the Roman Catholic Church and they have hired a PR man.
The Earth is Flat I tell you, the Cardinal says. (We all know Columbus proved it was round in 1492)
Yet this man Galileo keeps insisting the Earth Rotates around the Sun and is a ball. We are all taught good Catholic belief that the Earth is the Center of the Universe. We want to burn him as an example.

Well, we are going to discredit him. He is a ridiculous figure of a man. Always staying up all night watching the stars. We will simply portray him as an odd ball. No one will ever believe his ideas again. We will just say he is a crazy old man. And they will believe us because we are the authority of the church.  When it comes to Area 51, facts about the secret military base are hard to come by. Many theories as to the true nature of Area 51 exist, but government silence and a classified seal make it nearly impossible to prove or disprove what really goes on in this highly secretive military installation.
Official Name
Currently, the official name of Area 51 is Air Force Flight Test Center, Detachment 3 (AFFTC Det.3). It has, however, accumulated several nicknames over the years including Groom Lake, Dreamland, Paradise Ranch, and Watertown.
Location
Area 51 is situated in the southern part of Nevada--approximately 83 miles northwest of Las Vegas. The Nellis Air Force Base surrounds Area 51 from the northwestern side all the way around to the south, leaving the Nevada Test Site to share only the southwestern border.
Visibility
The only place to catch a glimpse of Area 51 is from Tikaboo Peak, just over 25 miles from the top-secret facility. Hiking to Tikaboo Peak is no easy task, though.  Over the years there have been many books written about aliens. While some of these books are better left on the shelf, others definitely deserve a read.  New UFO footage that was taken in New Mexico is being called the best UFO video ever. If the video that you are about to see is real, then it is absolutely mind blowing. But the truth is that it may not be real. Those that believe that UFOs and aliens really exist are on an endless quest to provide solid evidence of this to the rest of the world. Unfortunately, it is just so easy to fake just about anything on video these days. Until UFOs start appearing above major global cities long enough for news cameras to get focused on them, it is going to be hard to convince the general public. But there are millions of people out there that claim that they have either seen a UFO or have had an encounter with an alien being.
