Hollywood seems to have an utter fascination with the supernatural these days. In fact, the vast majority of big blockbusters now have something to do with UFOs, aliens, the occult or paranormal phenomena. But the new Percy Jackson takes things to an entirely new level. In Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, the hero discovers that his birth was the result of a union between a human and a "god". Rather than being something that is regarded as an abomination, the film treats this as something wonderful that has happened to Percy and something that has given him great powers. Unfortunately, most people who will watch this movie will not realize how real all of this stuff really is. In fact, there was a time in human history when "gods" regularly visited the earth and produced hybrid children with human women. Recent news about the blue spiral phenomenon that appeared in the skies above northern Norway is once again drawing attention to the mysterious UFO sightings that have been regularly occurring around Hessdalen, Norway. In fact, there has been so much UFO activity in and around Hessdalen that some UFO researchers believe that there is an underground alien base there. Others believe that there is a "hyperdimensional portal" or a "stargate" in the area. Sightings of UFOs in the Hessdalen area have been regularly happening since at 1981. There have reportedly been hundreds of UFO sightings in the area in the past three decades. So just what in the world is going on in Hessdalen? 
A UFO video that has been posted up on YouTube numerous times is causing quite a shockwave in Russia right now. The video is posted below, and it appears to show a UFO in the shape of a pyramid hovering over the Kremlin. Some people who have studied the footage say that it would not be possible to fake the triangle shaped UFO that we see in the video. Others insist that of course it is possible to fake just about anything on video these days. In any event, this is causing quite a stir not only in Moscow, but throughout all of Russia. So exactly what did happen in the skies above Red Square that night? 
What in the world happened in the skies above Norway on December 9th? A spiralling blue light appeared in the skies above northern Norway that made headlines around the world and that left residents of the region absolutely stunned. Some are claiming that the blue light was the result of an embarrassing failed test launch of a new Russian missile. In fact it is true that a Bulava missile was test-fired from the Dmitry Donskoi submarine in the White Sea early on Wednesday. The missile reportedly failed during the third stage. However, many UFO researchers are claiming that the spiralling blue light was actually a stargate or a portal or a wormhole and that there is actually video of something coming through it. 
In just a few days, Roland Emmerich's apocalyptic epic, 2012, opens in theaters across the United States. In the trailer for the film, which is posted below, iconic Christian sites as the Sistine Chapel, Saint Peter’s Basilica, and the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro are portrayed as being dramatically destroyed once doomsday arrives. However, 2012 is not alone in this focus on the destruction of Christian symbols. In the new ABC television series V, there is a very dramatic scene where a statue of Jesus topples over and shatters on the floor once the aliens arrive. The not so subtle message in both cases seems to be that when cataclysmic events occur in the not too distant future, conventional ideas about the Christian faith will be devastated and the faith of millions of believers will be shattered.
